Participiants and applications
The Winter School is designed for Ph.D. and post-graduate psychology students who are interested in researching the implications of socioeconomic inequality on psychological well-being. People with research interest in any of the fields relevant to psychological research are encouraged to apply and will be given full consideration. The program focuses on some areas of psychology such as social psychology, developmental psychology, community psychology, and judgment and decision-making. However, candidates who are working in other fields (e.g., clinical psychology) are welcome to send their application.
At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
A minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 participants will be admitted.
The Winter School fee is €450 per participant. This includes the 5-day course, a conference bag, coffee breaks, several guided tours in Padua, and the social dinner. Participants are required to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
Each application must be in English and should include 1) a short CV; 2) a motivation letter (max 3000 characters).
Two applications will be selected for a €500 scholarship.
Applications will be selected based on the participants’ CV, the motivation letter, research interest, and equal gender opportunities. Incomplete applications and applications presented in other languages than English will not be considered. Decisions will be sent to applicants by the end of January 2017
