Beyond the Surface: A Psychodynamic Book Club

Il Book Club nasce con l’obiettivo di favorire uno spazio di confronto e riflessione su tematiche centrali della psicodinamica, attraverso la lettura e la discussione guidata di opere letterarie e testi teorici. L’iniziativa intende stimolare il dialogo interculturale, promuovere il pensiero critico e offrire un’occasione di approfondimento su concetti chiave della teoria e della pratica psicodinamica.

Gli incontri si sviluppano attorno alla lettura condivisa di materiali selezionati e prevedono momenti di discussione collettiva, con particolare attenzione al collegamento tra contenuti teorici e dimensione narrativa.

L’attività, già avviata nel corso del primo semestre, prosegue con nuovi incontri dedicati all’esplorazione delle dinamiche psichiche, relazionali e simboliche presenti nei testi proposti.

Gli incontri si terranno in Aula DPG1, al quinto piano del CLA (via Venzia, 16), dalle 16:30 alle 18:30:

Beyond the Surface: A Psychodynamic Book Club è un’iniziativa promossa nell’ambito delle attività di Terza Missione del Dipartimento di Psicologia dello Sviluppo e della Socializzazione (DPSS), rivolta a studenti e studentesse internazionali.

The Book Club was created with the aim of promoting a space for discussion and reflection on key issues in psychodynamics, through reading and guided discussion of literary works and theoretical texts. The initiative aims to stimulate intercultural dialogue, promote critical thinking and offer an opportunity to explore key concepts in psychodynamic theory and practice.

The meetings are based on the shared reading of selected materials and include group discussions, with a particular focus on the connection between theoretical content, narrative dimension and personal experience.

The activity, which began during the first semester, continues with new meetings dedicated to exploring the psychological, relational and symbolic dynamics present in the proposed texts.

The meetings will be held in Room DPG1, on the fifth floor of the CLA (Via Venzia, 16), from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.:
