Aims and contents
The School aims to provide higher education lecturers and professors with the opportunity to experience a professional development program concerning the major issues and challenges involved in teaching academic subjects through English. The 5-day program will consist of classroom lectures and practical sessions, during which leading national and international experts will present the latest research on both theoretical and methodological aspects related to Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI), with a special emphasis on intercultural communication. Furthermore, participants will be encouraged to share their practical teaching and lecturing skills and will have the possibility to acquire innovative strategies for teaching their subjects in multicultural academic environments.

- Integrating language and content in higher education
- Dealing with international students
- Learning resources, visual literacy and learning in a foreign language
- Pedagogical considerations and support strategies for teaching in a foreign language
